Doing a lot of Christmas around here – hot chocolate, visiting Bethlehem, marshmallows, and dressing for the cold. We have a couple weeks left until school is out and we can start the full celebration.

Here we are at week 52 and its crazy that its time to start back at week one. We had a full, but relaxing week. We did lots of holiday type activities and it was one of the best Christmases we have had as a family.

One more week until the big day! For us that means travel. We leave next Sunday so I will attempt to have the blog ready before we leave early. So grateful school is out for winter break! And today feels slow and relaxing. We have been doing lots of Christmasy activities and staying busy. Here’s our week . . .
This was the first of 8 loaves we baked this week. All, except one, went to teachers and friends.
Wow! Week 50! I am always surprised when we make it this far. This week is a long post with 39 images. We did a lot of Christmas-y stuff which is always a bit chaotic but fun. Only one more week of school!

Its never too early start the nativity. I love the felt play one we have.
Christmas is so soon. I am trying to survive and have a good time while doing it. Its not easy. I have been trying to do fun things with the boys, but it can be hard to keep it all together. 19 more days!

We are back. This will be my last post of 2014! Crazy how fast that went. We just got back into town and this post would have been up last night but I had some technical difficulties. Today I am sick in bed. I’m trying to see the silver lining in being limited to bed and close distance to the bathroom. I guess I will get a head start on that baby weight before the holidays. I can hear chaos downstairs as Mark tries to manage the laundry, kids, and meals. Thanks Babe! Anyway, I hope this post is coming to you as you are preparing for the holidays (in a peaceful and happy state). Here’s our week. . .
Brooks made a snowy mountain scene that he saw in a book. His creations always surprise me.
Merry Christmas! We spent our week in North Carolina with family and I took a break from the camera. Most of the pictures from this week were from my phone (I got a new one and I’m still trying to figure out all the special features).
