Hey Dad!

We’ve been thinking about you a lot today and thought you might like to look at some pictures on your new iPad. You have a special package coming your way with some pictures painted by Brooks. He’s been asking  to go to the hospital to see Papa and make him feel better. I know that sometimes we can’t make sense of crazy things in our lives, but we can understand that God loves us and hears us. We are praying for you and thinking of you. We really miss you and hope that this week goes quickly. Hope you feel better soon!

(My dad is currently in the hospital undergoing his first day of chemo. We found out about a month ago that he has a rare form of leukemia. This came as a shock to all of us, but then again he has been sick a lot of the last few years so in a way it wasn’t a surprise. Its hard to see him and my mom go through this difficult challenge but as I said above, I rely in God’s plan and purpose for our lives. He loves us and I know He is taking care of my dad even if I physically can not.)
