My Dear Brooks –

Raising you and your brothers have not been easy. Each of you are unique and come with different rules and directions. After being around you for the past 9 years, I can see a trend. You are kind. You care deeply about others and show concern when others are hurt. You tell the truth and expect others to do the same even if that means informing us that your brothers are not being honest. You have a sense of right and wrong and it upsets you when there is injustice. Keep that moral sense – its called integrity. You are brave and smart. You try new things and learn from your mistakes. You always have a book and I love that about you. You have a taste for travel which makes me so happy. We are headed together for another international trip and I can’t wait to see and taste another culture with you.

Continue to be brave. Continue to make friends. Continue kindness. These three things will get you far. I love you!
