Warning: there’s a lot of food in this post. I’ll try to attach all the recipes.
Here’s our week:
Lunch. Silas has the avocado and Brooks wanted the turkey, cheese, and pickle roll-ups.
Making Chipotle Lime Texas Trash. Highly addictive!
Brooks learned about Cowboys and the West this week at school. Here he is sleeping in this picture with his Lego horses. The box full of blocks and the fireman hat are water and horse food.
Superman, Superman, and Superman. He is explaining what birds like to eat in this picture – bread, smelly things, and vegetables.
This guy didn’t hold still long enough for a picture.
Blueberry and Spinach Popsicles.
I made Rainbow Pizzas one night. Big hit with the boys.
Earl Grey, Blueberry, Lemon Tea Cake. I made it for Downton night. This was the only piece left.
This was my lunch one day. Its so satisfying. Avocado on bread with olive oil and salt and pepper.
Brooks explaining to Silas how to remove the stringy things from a orange.
Labne Sundaes. My friend gave me a container of this Arabic yogurt (labne), so I added honey, walnuts, and cinnamon.
Salted Honey Lavender Pie. I wish I could claim this, but I got it at the local pie shop.
Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes. I’m making these for Valentines this week.
I don’t understand this. Depending on the season, some yards in our neighborhood look totally different.
I made 71 meatballs today. The boys love them so I made a huge batch so I can freeze them.
Its been a journey and an emotional ride to get here, so we are very thankful to be experiencing this miracle. I’m now 21 weeks and feeling pretty good. We can’t wait to meet this little one in June.
See you next week.
Those eats look yummy!!! How was the pie, that is a crazy combination. Those boys just make me laugh!!!! They love to pretend. Can’t wait to see our newest little one. You look great Tara.
