My Little Man has reached the big age of four. We’ve been celebrating all week long with multiple parties and lots of treats. His big party was just this morning at our neighborhood fire station. It was one of the easiest and most entertaining party I’ve thrown.
We started the party with some hat making, which went over much better than I imagined.
Here is a view of the cake. I’m not a baker, much less a cake maker (which I believe takes extra skill) so I got donuts – red velvet with cream cheese icing.
We also made lunches for each child. Super easy. Every kid loves PB&J.
The birthday boy with his completed hat.
Silas loved the whole party.
Then we got an extra special tour of the fire station . . .
including a chance to spray the fire hose.
Then we got to see one of the firemen all dressed in his full uniform.
Surprisingly no one was scared.
At the end of the tour, Brooks got a chance to sit in the driver’s seat and flash the lights.
After the tour, the kids were starving and it was quiet for about 20 minutes.
And then we got to the fun part – the cake. It was an awesome party.
Happy Birthday Little Man! You make Mom and Dad so proud everyday. You are always teaching us (and brother) new uses for things around the house and amaze us with your humor and imagination. You are a wonderful, kind, gracious, and happy boy. We love you.
So happy to be a part of this fantastic day!!!
Happy “4th” Birthday Silas 🙂 What a great party !
Thank you!
Happy birthday Brooks! Lauren wanted to let you know that she’s four too. Just so you know. 🙂
I think Brooks misses Lauren just a bit.
