Happy Fourth of July!
We started out our celebration by attending our neighborhood’s bike parade. I hope that Brooks and Silas will be able to participate next year.
I then attempted to take some pictures of Brooks and Silas. Brooks really loves his brother so much that it made taking good pictures of the two of them almost impossible.

I am really looking forward to Silas being able to play (or hit or hug or kiss or kick) his brother back. I love having two little boys.
Also this weekend we attended a friend’s wedding in Virginia. Mark and I took Silas and left Brooks with his grandparents and headed north.

I love this picture. Silas has huge feet.
This is basically what Silas did the entire evening of the wedding. We felt very lucky to have such a laid back kid.
The venue of the wedding was amazing. Those are the Blue Ridge Mountains behind us.
This is Silas during the ceremony. Like I said before he slept the whole night.
We got to hang out with some great friends and meet some new ones. It was so nice to be able to get a few days to focus entirely on Silas (and not run after a very active 20 mth old).
While my family was here, Brooks got to spend a lot of time in the pool with his Grammy. He loves the water.
Hope you had a restful Fourth!
That Brooks just loves to give his brother lots of kisses. At least his kissing and not throwing water on his head. HA!! Grammy
