Thanks to Groupon and LivingSocial we’ve enjoyed a night at the movies, a delicious dinner, an afternoon tea, a few classes at Gymboree, and admission to KangaZoom. KangaZoom is basically a huge gym for little ones. There are televisions playing movies and cartoons, blocks, a batting cage for 2 yr olds, and huge bouncy houses all in one building. Its everything a toddler would love.
Brooks’ first stop was a small table in front of a t.v. This kinda surprised me since he won’t sit still for a movie at home. Maybe it was the rocking chairs that were just his size?
His next stop was a giant slide. He was first afraid, but after me carrying him up once (not a small feat for a pregnant woman) and a kind mom who was watching us took him up a second time he was ready to do it all by himself. I was so proud of him figuring out how to climb the ladder despite the older kids climbing over him and then going down the big slide all on his own.

I think his favorite spot was a giant jumping mat. He did so many circles and laughed so hard I thought he would for sure crash as soon as we got home. Of course, I was wrong – he took a 45 minute nap.
