Happy Valentine’s Day!
Every Valentine’s Day, my mom would make us a heart-shaped yellow cake with chocolate frosting. To this day it is my favorite cake frosting combo. This year I thought I would continue the tradition, but since its not a good idea to leave a pregnant woman alone with a cake I thought it would be wise to make cupcakes and share with neighbors. I got the recipe from http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/07/best-birthday-cake/. It turned out wonderful, moist, and not-to-sweet cupcakes.
Brooks watched the whole process and was anxious to try one when they were done.
In other news, we are beginning our garden.
