This year we headed north to Winston-Salem, NC to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Hay-Hay, Uncle Day-Day, and cousin Rowe.

They were very excited to see each other.

Aunt Hay-Hay showed Brooks how to “shag” – a southern dance to “beach music.” I guess its another Southern thing that I don’t understand.

We also were able to put up a swing in the back which Brooks found so relaxing he began to dose off.

We look forward to all the memories yet to come between these two (they are 6 months apart).
Grandma sent us home with a foil pie plate that kept Brooks busy on the drive back. Hope everyone had a great long weekend.
