Monday morning we decided to celebrate the holiday and eat breakfast at our favorite D.C. restaurant, Founding Farmers. (They have great coffee)
After breakfast, we went to the Botanical Garden . . .
we smelled the flowers
enjoyed the peaceful sound of the fountains
smelled real flowers
we thought it would be appropriate for Brooks to pose in front of the capitol in his patriotic colors.
